Formula Test Final Lab Step

You made it to the final step. Before you pack up, it’s time to test the system you built today.

Test Your Cleanser

Apply a small swatch of your lip gloss to the back of your hand. Add 1 to 2 drops of your cleanser directly on top. Moisten your cotton pad with a few drops of distilled water and place it over the cleanser. Gently wipe away. Repeat the same process with a small swatch of your eyeshadow using your second cotton pad.

Before You Head Out

Use your remaining alcohol pads to wipe down your work surface and any tools you are leaving behind. Place your finished products back into your kit bag. Locate the ingredient labels inside your kit bag and apply them to the back of your lip gloss tube and the back of your eyeshadow palette — your products are officially finished and labeled.

Using Your Products at Home

UnMakeup Cleanser

Patch test on your inner wrist before use on your face. Massage 1 to 2 drops onto dry skin, avoiding the eye area completely. Rinse thoroughly with water. Use within 2 weeks.

Lip Gloss

Apply to lips and enjoy. Use within 4 weeks.

Pressed Eyeshadow

For eyelid use only. Do not share with anyone. Always use a clean applicator. Use within 3 weeks.
